Interesting but sad stuff about loss of sense of smell

A friend of mine lost her sense of smell after a brain haemorrhage and never got it back. She’d never been very interested in food anyway, but she said it made cooking incredibly difficult because she just couldn’t tell if something was eg too salty. Very bad luck for anyone
