Spot on - we NEED a director of football

We need someone in the club, who has the responsibility of vetoing any potential signings - to ensure that only quality is brought in. He could potentially save the club millions in wasted wages/paying off contracts - so would be worth whatever we pay him. I'm sick of our board just falling over backwards to sign any player Worthington wants - what about quality assurances? We've signed so much dross in the last 12 months we must be close to setting a record of some sort. Shocking. Shocking. Shocking. And that is a sacking offence in my book. We're stuck with this shower now for 2-3 years or with a huge bill to pay them off.
