Many years ago, around 45 or so :-
My best memory of John Edrich is him doing a “Coach the Coaches” workshop at a local school. Three players were selected from each school to attend and John Edrich saw how the coaches were training us with regard to our batting skills.
Then he did some batting against him, was great to see an England player close up. He looked a very good player to me!
