For your regular weekly shop...either

...pay more for what you want to keep eating
...or eat something else instead

The shelves won't be bare simply because of brexit...and chances are there will be more cod. Have you seen how much salted cod there is in Spanish/Portuguese supermarkets???

I know it's not all about food but I for one would be happy to eat seasonal British food based on availability and, when I want a change, I'll pay for it.

I lived in Tokyo for years and they eat much more of their 'own' food, and imported goods are expensive, so treated as a luxury.

£7 for a parsnip at Christmas anyone? (One parsnip)
£8 for a small jar of marmite
£5 for a box of Weetabix

I've bought all of these as a treat but mostly you end up eating rice, fish, etc.

When in Rome...
When at home, eat local
