I've had this problem before. Is it working on any of the boxes?

If it's working on one box you can set it to record and then you can still watch it on playback on the other boxes ( plus you can pause and rewind it when you watch it this way)

I've gilf-ed it in the past. It seems like a fairly common problem, and one that Sky don't seem keen to acknowledge.
