had to wait for an hour for an interview. The 2 of us sat chatting for about an hour. Afterwards the friend said I had got along well with Ray Davis (ex The Kinks). I hadn't known who he was. I then thought if I'd have known then I could have dashed down Magdalen Street to get a second-hand CD for him to sign and sell as I was skint.
