In his interviews he has been talking a lot about counter-pressing and it is clear that Rupp is in the team to win the ball back in the opposition half, something that he does very well. Using both Rupp and Skipp is part of the approach to make us more solid and arguably has worked as we are conceding less than in the promotion season. Perhaps though at the loss of a little creativity.
