In true devil's advocate style...

I think people are still trying - muddling through as best they can.

Now that they've released hyper local info here in Cardiff it's clear that the 'burbs with the big spikes are where the students live. Rates around tal-y-bont are over 1000 per 100,000.

Not seen any evidence that the students have been dicks in particular - suspect its more that (a) they're all living in ultra close proximity, (b) they've come from all over the country - where there's travel and mixing there's spread, (c) the uni is doing mass asymptomatic testing in their digs and so it's picking up loads of cases.

My hope is that it'll be contained as best as possible in that community and then, with some degree of immunity the students can come and save the day looking after the rest of us.
