Not sure that a minor tweak to the third (fashion) kit is really the thin end of the wedge.

I think they could make a load of money if they did a really nice retro shirt with actually nice material, not the weird, thin, synthetic rubbish that seems de rigeur these days. The local firm we hired to make shirts for the badminton club were able to use modern materials that were synthetic, but nice and good to play sport in. The replica ones are just merch - not sure they really work as 'clothes' beyond showing allegiance.

Ffs even band t shirts are comfier.
