There seems to be a lot of confusion

And conflation between BLM as a statement as a social movement and as an organisation.

I am of the impression that the majority of people when the say Black lives matter are making a statement rather than endorsing the organisation which uses that name.

It'd be interesting to see some research on what associations people draw.
