In the real world I suspect they've been advised that they will probably lose in Court if these challenges go ahead and worked out that they will lose (even more) a generation of voters and their parents!

I just can;t comprehend how anyone thought using such an algorythm was ever appropriate but then that seems to be the sort of world we live in now.
