Nbttt, the todd cantwell social media spat vvv
strikes me that there's possibly a dangerous parallel to be drawn here on a well trodden road between young "men" having wealth and celebrity thrust upon them. That road is littered with Bests, Gascoignes, Mersons, sansoms et al who haven't coped overly well with the trappings of fame.
The old temptations of booze and drugs have been largely eradicated as players are under huge medical scrutiny these days so in some instances social media interaction can fill that void.
You'd think everyone in the club would be aware of the potential of career wreck if a social media s**tstorm gets out of hand, a lot of these young lads have no life experience outside of football. It does make me wonder about Stuart Webber if indeed it was Todd who he was digging out on social media.
