The logistics of getting fans back into stadiums is going to be a nightmare
If the assumption is that stadiums can only have 25% capacity for us that’s what, 7,000. So season ticket holders could only go to around 1 in 4 games. That’s if we open all parts of the stadium. Will it be cheaper to close the upper tiers? Fans will want a refund for the games they can’t attend. How do you allocate which games certain fans can go to? So the club pick or do you let fans? Almost certainly you won’t be able to sit in their seat. Does that mean they get a partial refund? What about family groups. How do you get 2 adults and 3 children to the same game? Do you leave a certain % open to non season ticket holders?
