Serious question

I don't get the vitriol directed at the club over rebates on ST and memberships.

I totally get that now in particular people may be struggling to make ends meet and may badly need the money. And I get that we paid for a product we're not now being provided with. And I get that this season has been terrible.

But since the club is self funded, any money they give back to us (even if we are of course owed it) is taken out of the budget for the squad. It's not like we have fat cat owners like the Glazer's taking huge dividends and if we take the money back it will come out of the dividenc.

So isn't it reasonable of the club to at least ask if they can not repay the money so they can chuck it in the budget for next season? Totally reasonable for people to then say no too, i need the cash. But I don't get the anger about the club asking.
