It's not about whether you are meeting contractual commitments, it's about whether your employer can afford to pay you.

Problem the club has vs most other employers is you can hardly threaten the players with the sack if they don't agree to the cuts.

If crowds aren't back next season it will be interesting to see what stance we take on pay cuts.
