I also think we looked much better for having Onel on the pitch. We were far too easy to defend against without him.

Really, that was a key feature of our best line up last season. The blend of Onel’s pace, Pukki’s movement and Buendia’s eye for a pass was impossible to defend against. Particularly with Vrancic and Stiepi’s eye for a long range goal. With a full strength side, we didn’t once get s**t housed last season because even a packed defence was not match for our attack.

We’ve definitely lost something of that this season, I think the lack of physicality in CM is what holds us back personally.
