Many Top Bands/Artists Went There....

....because it was so far away from anyone else, many of the leading music writers chose not to bother making the trip. Bands etc felt this meant they could play new material or introduce new band members without getting too hostile a reception, especially as the crowd there would always be loud and supportive.Lots of NWOBHM band went down the proverbial storm there in the 80's and always came back.
