Had a Samsung screen fail
TV repairer in Lynn pointed to literally dozens on his shelves, all Samsungs, all screen fails. Mine was only 3 years old. He said that basically a new screen would cost pretty much the same as a new TV, so I thanked him and left him the TV for spares !
