Bung em in soil and they grow like crazy (better than the stuff I've bought at garden centres)

I've got mint, chives and parsley that come up each year.

So.... Cheap.

Tesco do bigger ones in pots 3 for 3 quid.

It really does make a massive difference to the taste of what you cook.

Dried parsley, chives and corriander(leaf) don't really work at all.

Dried oregano is actually nicer than fresh.

Jars of garlic and ginger paste are also brilliant.
