Barclays Bank bereavement department
So now its the job of informing all the authorities, bodies and people of my father's death. Everybody has been really kind and helpful - with one exception. I'm looking at you Barclays Bank. It took an hour to get through on the bereavement hotline and the woman couldnt have been less helpful - a one sentence script "call Customer Services". If I had been in the same room - the bereavement could well have been her! God help the relatives of all the others who have died if that is what they have to face. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they rang back to say that s/he had refused! And no - I hadnt lost it!
So - any suggestions as to how to exact a revenge? I cant be arsed going thro a formal complaint procedure so anything creative much appreciated! Let your imaginations run wild - and, if you bank with Barclays, move somewhere else!!
