I firmly believe that the UK should’ve started testing a lot earlier, look at Germany and
South Korea. And I simply don’t believe that the government can get anywhere near the numbers they said by the end of the month. I’m amazed that all healthcare workers haven’t been tested yet.
One thing I haven’t really heard much discussion about though is retesting. Surely anyone can be tested one day, be negative and then catch covid the next day? It’s only safe for the time you have the test, you could catch it on the door handle on the way out of the testing centre.
