Sealed container with a few holes in it.
Fill it with a solution of sugar and water.
This will attract them and keep them away from you.
It would be handy if you could find the nest. Do not poke the nest with a stick though, best solution is to smoke them out but I would leave Wasp best destroying to the professionals.
