Brilliant system - and we have done something like that in our lane in Thorpe of 40 houses. My worry though is for vulnerable people in cities and towns where there is nothing like that kind of neighbourliness.
I agree the Councils have no chance or the means of resourcing what is needed. It needs to be a national scheme.
