Some positive news from Kent NHS
Spoke to two consultants today, both mates.
One’s a practising anaesthetist. Been really tense for weeks, really worried. Currently very pleased. Many ITU fewer beds occupied than they feared, doing fine. They were thinking about a Nightingale hospital; now they don’t think they’ll need one.
Other’s a just retired surgeon, married to a just retired senior nurse. They both volunteered. Both now been stood down on the basis that it’s looks like it’ll be well within current capabilities.
I know it’s worse elsewhere but I was just chuffed to hear some good news so thought I’d pass it on!
