Vaguely reassuring but the one thing that really gets me down at present is
NHS workers and medical staff still saying they haven't got enough masks and PPE equipment.
This is a major f**k up and its one that will in my view lead to avoidable deaths. They announced yesterday the first death of a patient who caught the virus in hospital (having gone in for another operation) but there must be hundreds of NHS workers who have it and will be passing it on to patients who are already weak or vulnerable. Plus how many are off work having to self-isolate at the moment when they could be helping to treat people?
It is absolute madness that every NHS worker has not been tested, that every NHS worker has not got the PPE and that every person admitted to hospital is also not being tested to check if they have the virus.
It appears to be primarily a logistics issue rather than the government being tight but its a big f**k up that 3 or 4 months after this came to light in China every hospital is still not fully equipped.
