If you decide to get a stylus for an ipad/android, be careful of the cheap ones on ebay/amazon. You need to make sure it has 'palm suppression' - so that resting your hand on the tablet doesn't effect it.
Also, to make the most of it, you'll need to have something that is pressure sensitive - otherwise you can't differentiate between faint and heavy lines etc. Some are properly pressure sensitive, some rely on the angle of the stylus to impersonate pressure (and some don't have any sensitivity at all).
