Really don't know where confidence like this comes from

We've not won up there since September 1988, back when football was a completely different sport. It'll always piss me off that we didn't win up there early in 04/5, when Robson was about to be sacked... because who knows how different we might've been on our travels had we shown a bit more killer instinct and secured an early away win?

In recent years, both the 6-2 and 4-3 were awful turning points in different ways. I think our only hope is their fans get a bit arrogant a la Everton's and expect them to attack all game long.

But Norwich just don't win games like this. Away from home hundreds of miles away in deep mid-winter during a desperate relegation battle? We're great at promotion races; we're rubbish at relegation scraps. If we win more than 5 league games between now and the end of the season, we'll have done awfully well.

Today? Two poor sides. Opponents who've collapsed: 3-0 at home to Watford. 4-0 at West Ham. They were down to 10 men with an hour left... yet we were still hanging on. Typical Norwich. Or rather: we're two or three quality players short. And over 38 games, that's gonna tell.
