His overall record is poor. I reckon he's made 11 decent signings out of 34. Have a look for yourself on Soccerbase - tell me if you disagree.

If you want to use Huckerby and Ashton as examples of a 'good' record in the transfer market - don't expect me to concur.

If we scrape in o the play-offs I'll be as happy as the next man. But I'll also remain utterly convinced that the next man could do a better job than outr under-achieving, lucky manager.

Sorry, but I won't change my mind.
