Then another CB should have been the priority. Feels like these comments have come as an attempt to try to explain the poor defensive record and probably enviously looking at Sheffield United's success with it.

Think Farke's number 1 plan was always to play the same style as the Championship winning side. The summer recruitment points to that approach as the target. Amadou was definitely brought in as a Tettey upgrade not as a third CB.
