Goal line decisions are also done instantly. The issue with offsides is that a) the technology isn't as accurate (to many moving parts, uncertainty about which 'body part' to use etc.) and b) it takes way too long. I don't think the Pukki goal should have been ruled out but I'd have been MUCH less unhappy if I'd known straight away (as in the past when you just glanced at the linesman to see if his flag was up), and not celebrated wildly and then been left sitting around for minutes before finding it was ruled out. That's a total farce.
