Worthy transfer rumour - surely, SURELY this can't be true?

This just emailed me by a Leeds fan:

"There is yet more speculation regarding Norwich's transfer targets today, with the Canaries rumoured to be bidding for Karl Hawley. Hawley has apparently also attracted the interest of Leeds United, having scored an impressive 24 goals so far this season for League Two side Carlisle. Carlisle are chasing promotion and looking to win the LDV Vans trophy this season, and are said to be reluctant to let Hawley go. The reported asking price is around the ?500,000 mark, a fee that both City and Leeds would apparently be willing to pay."

Another striker? It has a horrible ring of truth to it ...
