My Martin Peters story.... played for my works team in the

NORWICH Thursday league... we struggled to get 11 and were a mix of middle aged drinkers and old farts.
We were playing JJ Funcity and remember looking up at the oppo and thinking I was going mad... Martin Peters staring back at me.
A cold Thursday and theee he was... playing for the love of playing.
We lost 15-2 and dont recall any of us getting near him.
A true legend and a real gentleman who loved the game. RIP.
