That's brilliant, I did a similar-ish route to celebrate my 50th, walked to London from
Norwich. Highways and byways, stopped in about 27 pubs, took 9 days, stayed in b+b's, hotels, friend's houses. No public transport between The Maddermarket theatre and Trafalgar Square. Loved it.
