Interesting thing about Hughes, actually:
The Reading fans I spoke to at the Madejski said Hughes had one really good season (where he scored 9 goals) playing just behind a single striker (can't remember who).
Which begs the question - is it really worth dropping Earnshaw (who can't play up front on his own) simply to get a good performance out of Hughes?
