It also indicates we have over £8m of non-player wages plus well over £10m of other operating expenses, so we're still looking at a pretty chunky loss even without the bonuses. Sustainable sort term given we have saleable assets but there's no guarantee that will always be the case.
The key for a club like us (and tbf has been for basically all of the nearly 50 years I've been going, it isn't anything new) is to try and acquire players who will go up in value, whether youths or bargain purchases, to cover that deficit. That's where your fortunes rise or fall...
