That as of last July we were still owed just over £42m for players with us owning other clubs just over £8m.

Admittedly when one looks at the debtors/creditors position overall we were owed £51m and we owed £45m (which i think includes that tax bill although i'm sure I read somewhere we had appealed it and won) so the two more or less balance each other out but based on that then surely we are not having to use the extra capital gained from reaching the premier league to pay off past debts?

Anyway the accounts tomorrow should be interesting,
