I think he is better at right hand centre back

if he had a fit Klose next to him and they played several games together his overall performance would improve significantly. Their 1st goal was from a s**t cross wasn't it? If I was the manager I would be asking could we have stopped the cross, if we couldn't then can Godfrey anticipate the run?
