This is Brighton for gods sake, Brighton. Who are manager says we cannot compete with to sign a vaguely decent championship player. Their owner isn't happy being a yoyo side or even with a manager who keeps them up but he suspects may struggle the next season. Pays for their ground, underwrites debts so they can compete. That's the difference.
