Why cook something nice from scratch when you can just put a ready meal in the microwave? Metaphorically speaking he is a ready meal politician - maybe convenient, cheap and the packaging promises a lot, but the reality inside is unhealthy, over-processed, poor quality and nothing like the picture on the box. That’s even before you taste it. Let's not think about the self-loathing you feel when it’s in your mouth, or even worse the morning after.
