IMHO The answer to Brexit might be pretty simple.
The current deal may or may not pass the house so.....
Why not add in a promise of a 2nd referendum within say 12-48 months.
That way you honor the democratic process of the 1st vote and then if people have changed their minds after seeing what happens, they then have a chance to change it back, just like a general election.
If the Lib Dems and Labour fail to support (the deal and a 2nd vote combined) then they will look really bad in the eyes of most people.
There we go......just solved Brexit and the democratic crisis in one swoop. .....You are welcome.....
I wish I could solve our injury crisis this easily.
