Buildings are built to present regulations and signed off by building control

So if the cladding is not fireproof its because it is not required to be as per the regulations otherwise it wouldn't meet the regulation and therefore could not be commissioned.

Most building's nowadays are much safer than those built twenty years ago.

Any refurbishments must also meet current regulations.
