It's absolutely phenomenal what this football club has achieved over the past year. In the modern game, it's supposed to be impossible. Financially, we should be in the bottom half of the Championship, at best.

Instead, we're in the Premier League. With a brilliant manager, players we can all identify with, doing it all on a shoestring. Almost every other club we're up against spends much more and are established in this league. Any positive result we pick up away from home will be a bonus. Any at all.

But no. Over a whole season, we're not 'the equal' of most teams in this league. Our squad and lack of finances don't allow us to be. Instead, if we end up higher than three other clubs, we'll have done f**king brilliantly, and be set up to build again and maybe establish ourselves.

In the summer, I suspected how Brighton did would be really critical to our chances. I still think that now. Finish above BHA and we'll stay up; finish below them and we'll probably go down. We gave our all today while very short-handed, were a bit unlucky and a bit powderpuff... but nobody can ask for more. Not even you, mate.
