I don't think so, like many socialists he's not pro-EU but realises the current alternativ

es are far worse. No one would say the EU isn't heavily flawed and requires enormous improvement, but the idea of simply cutting ourselves off from our largest market is madness and will be most heavily borne by the poorest strata of society.

But just look at the anger of the brexit idiots talking about how their vote is being ignored - I mean they're on every single news broadcast. Anyone who wishes to openly defy them is in for a very rough ride and at this stage this is all about the voting arithmetic and how the Brexit party will affect things. Corbyn's approach may not work, but it's the most logical way to approach it and seems to me the best chance of stopping brexit altogether.

And I realise that Brexit is far more complex than the fallout from austerity, but it's had an exceedingly far reaching influence on this situation and had that not happened we almost certainly wouldn't be here right now
