Notsomuch law as a point of constitutional principal

The executive branch (and even monarch) is accountable to Parliament, and they cant sidestep the constitutional right of parliament to hold them to account by simply proroguing it without a good justification.

Ie, we dont live in a dictatorship whereby the PM can stifle debate and opposition at will.
