Burnley/Bournemouth

Burnley was a bit of a trek and tough to turn around in a day. B'mouth similar distance so am thinking to stop over on the way back. Anywhere recommended on the route back that is nice to stop off at and spend Sunday there before heading back? Good food welcome.
