A responsible government would recall Parliament, let it do whatever it can/will do, continue to negotiate (or not) with the EU, and comply (sensibly) with the Benn legislation (notwithstanding its peculiar originals) - they ought all, in the all our interests, calm themselves a bit, but they won't. Some chaos/heightened terror suits BJ (him v Parliament!) some chaos/terror suits his opponents (it's a coup!) - meanwhile we're all being played and pissed on.
