I preferred Palace's semi final that year

Even though Man Utd drew 3-3 with Oldham later in the day, it was nothing like as exciting (for me) as the Palace victory over Liverpool. Overall, as a day of footy though, it was amazing and easily the best double header I had seen until then; I was fortunate to see them though; I had a day out planned at Benbon Brothers in Margate but engineering works or somesuch had closed the line so I went home, put on't telly and boom...
