Just back from Wymondham Waitrose

Where I ran into Mr Teemu Pukki esq accompanied by (presumably ) Mrs Pukki and little miss Pukki (who didn’t have the match ball with her) running amok in the aisles.

After about the fourth time of running into him I finally plucked up the courage to say “Good luck for the season” and he only went and said ( in a quietly confident, but humble, Finnish sort of way) “Thank You “

Yep he actually said “thank you”. He was thanking me, which seemed a bit the wrong way round somehow.

He’s a lot leaner and taller than he appears on the pitch.

Anyway, I’m still all of a dither, so it’s time for a nice cold sharpener I think.
