Not saying there wasn’t a bit of posturing and chanting and fans squaring up to each other but I think the scale has been hugely exaggerated.

If I had to speculate as to what happened I’d say a couple of our fans on a train home via Peterborough wound up the sc*m by shouting something, they then reacted and the geordies on the train thought the sc*m were having a pop at them so also reacted.
