my great uncle was shot dead in WW1

injured twice, 1915 gunshot wounds to legs and back and then again in 1916 gunshot wound to head. killed in action on the 7th April 1918 in France when taking a message across open ground just before daylight when a bullet got him through the head killing him instantly. i would have loved to have met him, don't think he was a mason handshake or otherwise. rest well bernard.
